
Business Operations Leader

As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project. Your expertise will ensure overall project results and achievement of project goals and objectives.
You will analyze complex problems, examine information from multiple sources, and use sound judgment to evaluate established and new solutions. Your performance will have a significant impact on various customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project, ensuring overall project results and achievement of project goals and objectives.
- Analyzing and resolving complex problems, examining information from multiple sources, and using sound judgment to evaluate established and new solutions.
- Developing project scope that meets the needs of the business opportunity and aligns stakeholders on the scope through functional reviews.
- Ensuring cost estimates adequately represent project scope and managing spending within authorized budgets and spending plans.
- Working closely with business leadership to secure funding through authorization processes.
- Implementing plans for smooth transition of the project to ISC and working with department leaders to secure lead resources.
- Providing effective communication and coordination between the project team and key stakeholders, including regular updates on scope, objectives, goals, cost, progress vs plan, and risks.
- Using and enforcing project change management programs, including securing DOA approvals per process.
Additionally, you will foster a work environment with high levels of integrity and strong safety focus, embracing diversity, inclusion, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement and empowerment.
Organizing periodic review meetings to discuss project status, contracts, and address issues and risks with clear documentation of action mitigation plans.
Identifying and managing risks associated with supply chain and implementing best practices based on knowledge of updated policies and legal regulations.
Overseeing the drafting and management of supply contracts in compliance with trade and legal regulations as per company policies.
Responsible for import processes, ensuring international and regional trade compliance, custom clearance, and tax requirements.
Contingency planning involves proactively developing and implementing contingency plans for supply chain disruptions in collaboration with team members.
Requirements:- 6-8 years of experience in a Supply Chain field.
- University Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or other Sciences.
The critical competencies required for success are supply chain management skills, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, team management and delegation, taking initiative, problem-solving skills, value creation, technical proficiency in the use of computer applications, analytical skills, project management skills, mentoring skills, independent decision-making skills.
