Job Title: Cloud Engineering Team Lead

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Leads/supervises a team of 2 or more professionals; first level manager of a work team that could comprise professionals, technical and/or administrative staff.

Focusing on Mentoring, Coaching, and Coordination:

  • Mentors and coaches team members to improve their skills and knowledge in cloud engineering.
  • Collaborates with team members to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage projects effectively.

Designing, Developing, Implementing and Updating Electronic Data Systems:

  • Develops and implements electronic data systems to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications for new system developments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software.
  • Liaises with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.

User Support and Development:

  • Deals with escalated customer complaints and develops suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Participates in the development of software user manuals.
