Job Title: Business Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Specialist to join our team at DBS Bank. As a Business Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing documentation-related support to our Mid and Large Corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Offer Letter, Facility, and Security-related documents in accordance with approved credit and business terms.
  • Check documents prepared by other team members for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with external lawyers and internal parties to finalize non-standard documentation.
  • Drive security perfection and seek internal approval for extensions when necessary.
  • Liaise with empaneled vendors for initiation and follow-up on timely reporting.
  • Scrutinize reports for negative comments or triggers and highlight them to internal stakeholders.
  • Support new empanelment and vendor management as applicable.
  • Drive documentation-related hygiene for the portfolio.
  • Initiate and close periodical valuation, title search, collateral audit, and plant visit as per Bank process.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in Credit Mid Office, Credit Control, Loan Servicing, Credit Administration, or Credit Documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Laws applicable in India for Credit Documentation.

  • Expert job knowledge of documentation and corporate bank products.
  • Good working knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Laws.
  • Ability to ensure time-bound delivery with compliance.
  • Ability to identify pain points and drive for permanent fixes.

Soft Skills:

  • Organized and self-motivated to meet turnaround times and manage work volume.
  • Ability to work with internal and external teams for smooth time-bound delivery.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute.
  • Proactive and effective communication skills.

Technical Competencies:

The job holder needs to have good working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel and be able to adapt to new systems and processes.
