Job Title: Enterprise Data Governance Expert

About the Role:

As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will lead and manage enterprise-level data governance initiatives using advanced configuration, integration, workflow development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and administer the entire lifecycle of data intelligence platforms.
  • Design and configure operating models, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain custom business processes using BPMN and workflow designer tools.
  • Integrate with enterprise systems (e.g., Snowflake, Informatica, Tableau, Azure, SAP) to facilitate smooth data exchange.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, owners, and users to define and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide expert training and support to technical and business users on data governance and platform usage.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist within the organization, promoting data governance maturity and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with platform configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management principles.
  • Proficiency in APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary in platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Platform certification or architect designation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale deployments of data governance solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
  • Background in data architecture or engineering is a plus.
