Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented professional to manage the development and execution of next-generation enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This role will sit within the Data Privacy team and will be instrumental in ensuring that data is managed as a strategic asset, supporting privacy compliance, data quality, and ethical data use across the organization.

As part of our team, this professional will be responsible for tactically executing against evolving data governance strategy and objectives. They will partner with business and technology leaders to shape, guide, and advance an enterprise-wide data governance framework that ensures data is accurate, accessible, consistent, and secure.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Governance and Stewardship
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for data owners and stewards across business units, collaborating with extended teams and leadership to create program awareness and drive issue resolution/escalation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional stewardship programs and councils to ensure accountability for authoritative data sources, data quality, accuracy, lineage, privacy, and compliance; maintain and enhance associated KPIs.
Data Quality and Integrity Initiatives
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to remediate data issues and improve trust in enterprise data assets.
Data Classification and Protection Efforts
  • Direct the classification of data assets based on sensitivity, regulatory impact, and business value.
  • Partner with Privacy, Security, and Legal teams to ensure appropriate controls are applied to sensitive and regulated data.
Governance Policies and Compliance Frameworks
  • Author and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures aligned with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Ensure governance practices support audit readiness and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
