Job Summary

This position is an opportunity to join a team of logistics professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

You will be responsible for overseeing the performance of a warehouse site, ensuring it meets or exceeds key performance indicators (KPIs) in areas such as cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.

  • Develop and implement plans to achieve operational excellence by managing warehouse activities, including staffing, organization, and direction.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive customer onboarding, retention, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Promote engagement and continuous improvement through new initiatives and productivity activities.
  • Provide information required for tenders and proposals to support closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to manage warehouse operations safely, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
  • Achieve KPI targets in cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.
  • Ensure teams meet their customer, site, and people KPIs.
  • Manage stakeholders, including customers, logistics suppliers, and teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.
