Program Director

The role involves strategic portfolio management with accountability for multi-year roadmaps, stakeholder engagement and delivering value through collaboration with global teams.

  • Manage small-scale developed or mature programs with defined program plans and delivery methodologies.
  • Lead large-scale cross-functional programs strategically, ensuring timely, budget-friendly and scope-compliant delivery of connected care solutions, new product introductions or technology deployments.
  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycles from planning to risk/issue tracking and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive cross-functional teams including design and quality throughout the product development process to ensure successful project completion and business goals.
  • Plan and manage portfolio-level AOP/budgets. Lead financial planning: forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis.
  • Act as a liaison between operating units and global teams.
  • Present analysis and updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and deployment; lead simplification initiatives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to obtain their engagement in solving business problems.
  • Recommend new policies and procedures affecting program management.
  • Modify programs management processes to improve them.
  • Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating; managing change; goal setting; planning, organizing teamwork; addressing difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem-solving.
  • Apply structured methods (DRM).

Digital Automated Dashboards:

  • Lead dashboard design and development using Power BI for tracking program performance, milestones and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, visualize data insights and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure dashboards align with executive reporting needs, providing real-time visibility into program health and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related disciplines with software experience.
  • 18+ years IT experience with 10+ years project management relevant experience in medical devices.
  • Hands-on experience in architecting complex dashboards using Power BI or other tools.
  • Certifications: PMP/equivalent, CSM, SAFe/RTE or ART experience handling.
  • Good to have Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • Good to have experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies.
  • Well-versed in medtech products/software/R&D, product development and clinical/regulatory processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and able to influence all customers.
  • Independent thinker with commercial and operational views on complex situations.
