Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to lead our financial planning and analysis functions.

  1. Develop, oversee, and enforce the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  2. Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives.
  4. Evaluate financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Oversee internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Strategic Financial Management:
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and ensure financial integrity.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and communications.
Financial Systems and Technology:
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Special Projects and Initiatives:
  • Lead or participate in special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. CA qualification is mandatory, and CS, CPA, CFA, CMA certifications are desirable.
