Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled data professional to fill the role of Azure Data Engineer. The successful candidate will possess experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex data pipelines using cloud-based services.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, processing, and storage. They should also be proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java, with experience working with databases like Postgres, Redshift, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud-based services.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as PySpark and Apache Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
  • Experience working with databases such as Postgres, Redshift, and MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cloud-based services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
