Contentful CMS Developer Position

We are looking for a seasoned Contentful CMS Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain Contentful content models, environments, and workflows.
  • Implement role-based permissions, localization, and advanced content management features.
  • Integrate Contentful with third-party services via REST/GraphQL APIs.

Collaboration and Integration:

  • Work closely with front-end developers to integrate Contentful into applications built with React.js, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) strategies for optimal performance and SEO.

API Development and Optimization:

  • Create and consume APIs using REST and GraphQL for content retrieval and management.
  • Optimize API queries for performance, caching, and SEO & Accessibility:
  • Ensure SEO best practices including structured data, metadata, and sitemap generation.
  • Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) across content and UI.
  • Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and page load times.

Documentation and Quality Assurance:

  • Work closely with designers, content strategists, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Document technical implementations, workflows, and integration processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in web development or CMS implementation.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with proficiency in REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Next.js, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of headless CMS principles and JAMstack architecture.
  • Experience implementing SSR and SSG for scalable content delivery.
  • Knowledge of content caching strategies (CDN, incremental updates).

Desirable Competencies:

  • Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
