Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to drive mid-term supply strategy and internal alignment for superior results in cost, service, quality, EHS, and overall performance. This role will collaborate with GMS planning hubs and local teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the mid-term supply strategy and internal alignment to deliver superior results in cost, service, quality, EHS, and overall performance
  • Execute Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) in support of the BC strategy for strategic supply chains
  • Contribute to negotiation strategies with contract manufacturers while working closely with SRM/Procurement
  • Define the supply chain strategy for capacity, inventory, and other parameters for the portfolio of contract manufacturers
  • Lead the establishment or adjustment of supply chain set-ups for portfolio transformations such as new product launches, technology transfers, exits, divestments, etc.

Operational Responsibilities
  • Lead supply agenda within the Supply Risk Team (SRT) for assigned portfolios of contract manufacturers and contribute to cross-functional business goals
  • Ensure appropriate setup for order management to realize best customer service at efficient costs in collaboration with GMS planning hubs and local teams
  • Provide relevant inputs for supply communications and escalations
  • Offer a mid-term Supply Risk and Opportunities overview and follow up on identified risks
  • Maintain a good overview of aggregated demand to contract manufacturers and act with GMS Hubs and local teams as required
  • Document all processes related to supply chain management properly
  • Support Product Life Cycle Events (Product introductions, Composition changes, artwork changes, technology transfers, and exits) with proper bridging stock planning, inventory planning, and stakeholder alignment to prevent shortages, write-offs, and obsolescence
  • Acknowledge the extended arm of the Supplier Relationship team in remote areas or on CMO site support to manage locally overall CMO end-to-end supply chain results

Supplier Relationship Management
  • Implement and maintain SRM programs with our contract manufacturers, ensuring supplier classification, operating rhythm, driving continuous improvement, optimizing quality, service, cost, innovation, and regulatory compliance
  • Collect, monitor, and evaluate key deliveries and supply performance from contract manufacturers. Follow up on KPIs and ensure the contract manufacturer constantly meets standards and targets, documenting the performance

Process Excellence
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, focusing on problem-solving approaches, corrective actions, and preventive actions
  • Improve and simplify processes to develop standardization, efficiency, and financial & quality compliance
  • Collaborate on Value Stream Mapping and implement Continuous Improvement Projects related to Operations with Contract Manufacturers

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, GMP, or Operational Excellence (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Seven plus years of relevant experience
  • Prior exposure to APICS/IML and computer skills (SAP, APO/JDA, MS Windows), Lean/Six Sigma
