Our organization is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Manager to oversee the development and protection of our growing portfolio.

About This Opportunity
  • This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and leadership to drive IP growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a skilled professional to develop and manage our company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will enforce effective IP processes to ensure timely protection of intellectual property and third-party partner interests.
  • Collaboration with global IP heads, research and development teams, and portfolio groups will be essential in identifying products for introduction into development pipelines, developing and managing strategic product development plans for the portfolio, assessing patentability, and providing guidance on patent-related matters.
  • Drafting patents, freedom-to-operate reports, infringement analyses, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies, filing and prosecuting inventive solutions, monitoring and evaluating third-party scientific and patent publications, and providing IP-related inputs for legal agreements and negotiations.
  • Partnering with other legal and business functions to offer strategic advice and strategy in M&A transactions, licensing agreements, research collaborations, adverse proceedings, and litigation activities.
  • Managing patent, trademark, copyright, and related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventions, know-how, trade secrets, and registered intellectual property.
  • Educating management and scientists on current best practices for protecting inventions and intellectual property.
  • Leading, empowering, and coaching a team of IP professionals.
