Visual Storytelling Lead

Mugafi is seeking an accomplished designer to elevate brand presence through captivating visual storytelling and design expertise.

This key role will be instrumental in scaling the brand's visual identity, building emotional resonance, and crafting engaging stories across diverse mediums.

  • Brand Management
  • Elevate Mugafi's visual language across all touchpoints (digital, social, print, pitch decks)
  • Design scalable creative templates and visual systems for teams and franchises
  • Creative Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to design assets for campaigns, launches, and events
  • Translate creative briefs into high-quality visual concepts
  • IP Development & Concept Art
  • Assist the IP development team in designing comic covers, title logos, visual posters, and promo materials
  • Create concept art or assist illustrators in defining the visual tone for new characters or story worlds
  • Communication & Documentation
  • Design high-impact pitch decks, investor summaries, reports, and internal documentation
  • Communicate clearly and inspire confidence through design

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of design experience in a fast-paced startup, creative agency, or entertainment/media company
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Figma or Canva knowledge is a plus
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity across static, dynamic, and branded content
