About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help businesses unlock the full potential of their data. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for migrating end-to-end data warehousing and ETL processes from legacy systems to modern platforms like Snowflake and dbt.

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines within the new environment, ensuring scalability and reliability. You will also optimize existing SQL workflows for performance and cost-efficiency on the Snowflake platform.

Your expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud technologies will enable you to establish robust data quality, governance, and security standards within the new platform. You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

You will develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control using Git. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the data engineering practice.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable expertise in migrating data platforms to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata for data warehousing and Informatica for ETL development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing and dbt.
  • Strong experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
