Job Description

The Data Transformation Specialist role involves working with cloud platforms to ensure the smooth functioning of data extract, transform, and load processes. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in testing, along with proficiency in Azure Cloud platform, structured and unstructured file formats, and programming languages such as Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand requirements from high-level design and low-level design documents
  • Prepare development and user acceptance testing environments in Teradata/Unix/Hadoop
  • Forklift seed data from production to test environment using Teradata utilities
  • Create forklift job in mainframe to move production data to mainframe files using Fast-Export Utility and NDM
  • Set up ETL jobs in regression efforts and flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe
  • Analyze tasks and assign them to team members on a daily basis, active participation in design solution unit calls and defect review meetings
  • Test case preparation and reviewing with development team
  • Create effective SQL scripts to validate change data capture logic in Teradata
  • Automation script module creation in Tosca to execute regression scripts
