Job Description

The role of the Lead Insurance Professional is to oversee and manage a team of insurance experts to achieve set performance objectives and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities include liaising with corporate teams and insurance units to streamline processes and enhance service delivery. Additionally, maintaining excellent customer service standards and fostering strong client relationships are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with insurance partners to optimize products and services offered to clients.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of medical underwriting in operational and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop strategies to meet customer retention goals and improve client satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.
  • Set, monitor, and analyze team KPIs, including performance metrics and turnaround times.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in leadership or managerial roles.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in performance monitoring, goal setting, and achieving business targets.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training and development programs.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and client relationship management skills.
  • Sound understanding of insurance products, regulations, and medical underwriting processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
