Job Summary:
As a Sous Chef at AccorHotel, you will play a key role in the success of our culinary team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Sous Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in the planning and preparation of menus, including ordering and inventory management.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, in consultation with the Executive Chef.
- Recruit, train, and develop the skills of kitchen team members to achieve high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience in Japanese Kitchen, preferably in a 5* hotel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances.

Working Conditions:
