About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our accounts payable and receivable functions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable process including invoice verification, approvals, booking, and timely payments.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements while processing payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate payment terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor ageing of payables and ensure adherence to policies.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and credit control for customers.
  • Monitor ageing reports and follow up with customers for timely collections.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address disputes or deductions promptly.
  • Ensure revenue recognition is in line with accounting standards and policies.
General & Team Management:
  • Prepare monthly AP/AR MIS reports for review.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all AP/AR transactions.
  • Support audits with required reconciliations.
  • Supervise and guide team members handling AP/AR processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally/NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter)
  • 5–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, preferably in e-commerce, retail, manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
