Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team, working on projects that involve document layout analysis, object detection, and OCR enhancement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AI/ML, preferably in document intelligence or vision-based systems.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, preferably in document intelligence or vision-based systems
  • Strong Python skills with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV
  • Proven experience in OCR, NLP, and automating document workflows
  • Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering or fine-tuning

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and developing machine learning models for document layout analysis, object detection, and OCR enhancement
  • Automating data extraction from complex PDF documents (invoices, contracts, forms)
  • Working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) for summarization, Q&A, and document intelligence tasks
  • Integrating AI pipelines with tools like Tesseract, Azure Form Recognizer, PDFMiner, PaddleOCR, etc.
  • Deploying and managing ML solutions using Azure cloud services
  • Collaborating using GitHub (version control), Jira (Agile task tracking), and CI/CD workflows
