Job Overview
  • We're seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to bridge the gap between data engineering and applied machine learning, building scalable pipelines, training models, and deploying them into production.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and build efficient data pipelines to transform raw events into usable features.
  2. Define and compute labels from historical events to improve model accuracy.
  3. Develop and train machine learning models using Python (scikit-learn, LightGBM, XGBoost) for churn prediction, upsell propensity, and lead scoring.
  4. Built real-time inference services to serve predictions into production systems.
  5. Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate model outputs into workflows.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or applied ML.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more ML libraries.
  • Experience with data pipelines and event-driven systems.
  • Understanding of ML lifecycle: training, serving, monitoring, retraining.
  • Ability to design time-based labels.
Nice-to-Haves
  • MLOps tools (MLflow, BentoML, Ray Serve).
  • Experience with bandit algorithms, A/B testing, or uplift modeling.

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
