Job Purpose:

Lead Domestic Employee Benefit Broking Sales efforts in the West Region.

Drive business growth through acquisition of large and mid-sized corporate clients.

Lead a high-performance sales team with strong knowledge of group insurance and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute regional sales strategy for Employee Benefit Broking in alignment with national goals.
  • New Client Acquisition: Prospect and acquire mid to large corporates for group insurance broking services including GHI, GTL, GPA, and voluntary benefits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals across major cities in the West; drive performance and market penetration.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams – Claims, Placement, Retention, Wellness, Digital, and Underwriting – to deliver seamless client experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 15+ years in employee benefit broking or corporate insurance sales; minimum 3 years in a regional leadership role.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Insurance, or related fields. III/IRDA certifications preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of group insurance products
  • Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills
  • Ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
