We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our organization.

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software and cloud platform engineering, with a focus on GCP environment.
  • They will have knowledge of the Shared Responsibility Model and be familiar with the security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps processes and workflows is also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and be able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing across the security assurance lifecycle (prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls)
  • Configuring Public Cloud native security tooling and capabilities with a focus on Google Cloud Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies and GCP APIs.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
  • Policies-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform expertise.
  • Event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, preferably Terraform.
  • Logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CICD pipelines.
  • GitHub Actions and Jenkins experience.
  • ITSM experience.
  • Experience in the financial industry.
