Job Title:

Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement robust security solutions that safeguard our systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats.

This role requires a proactive individual who can monitor for vulnerabilities, investigate incidents, and respond promptly to ensure the highest levels of system integrity and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security tools and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches and conduct thorough investigations.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
  • Develop and lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Manage firewalls, antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), data loss prevention (DLP), and intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Maintain documentation related to security architecture, incidents, and processes.
  • Conduct regular security awareness training for staff and developers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation.
  • Strong understanding of network and web-related protocols.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GSEC.
  • Experience with cloud security and containerization.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
