Job Title: Financial Management Expert

We are seeking a skilled finance professional with experience in financial closing, IFRS compliance, and financial analysis.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Closing & Reporting:
    • Ensure the accurate and timely closing of financial books at the end of each accounting period.
    • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and IFRS during the closing process.
    • Verify proper booking of prepaid expenses and provisions.
    • Prepare the fixed assets register and regularly scrutinize the balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.
    • Coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow analysis.
  • Financial Analysis & Planning:
    • Analyze in-depth the company's assets and liabilities, as well as profit & loss accounts.
    • Conduct variance analysis comparing historical periods and budgeted figures.
    • Analyze working capital schedules, AR & AP ageing, and inventory ageing.
    • Assist in preparing business plans and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Auditing & Compliance:
    • Liaise with internal and external auditors; coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
    • Provide necessary documentation and clear explanations during audits and regulatory reviews.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards to ensure full compliance.
  • Process Improvement & Internal Controls:
    • Review and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
    • Develop and implement best practices in financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Communicate complex financial information and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, treasury, and operations to ensure seamless financial operations.
