Procurement Manager for Mayfair Housing

Mayfair Housing is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to maintain purchasing policies, choose reliable suppliers, and oversee large procurements.
Purchasing Policy and Supplier Management:
- Maintain a comprehensive purchasing policy that adheres to industry standards and ensures transparency in all procurement processes.
- Conduct thorough research to select suppliers that meet our quality and cost requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing and timely delivery of goods.
Liaison and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with accounting and stock departments to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
- Analyze management information to inform budgeting decisions and identify areas for cost reduction.
Procurement and Order Management:
- Oversight of large procurements to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Coordinate the collation of purchase orders and requisitions to streamline the procurement process.
- Monitor order status to ensure timely resolution of any issues.
Inventory and Invoice Management:
- Manage non-supplied, under-ordered, over-ordered, and damaged goods to minimize losses.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices from suppliers by verifying receipt and accuracy of goods delivered.
Reporting and Requisition Management:
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities to inform business decisions.
- Process requisitions and purchase orders efficiently to meet operational needs.
Compensation: The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
