Business Performance Manager Job Description

As a Business Performance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business performance strategies, KPIs, and reporting frameworks. This role involves managing a team of analysts to deliver high-impact insights and performance dashboards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance gaps and provide recommendations. Your expertise in designing and delivering executive-level reports and presentations will be crucial in driving business decisions.

In addition, you will ensure data compliance across performance reporting systems and drive continuous improvements in reporting. You will partner with different teams to obtain the necessary data and produce actionable insights for leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 to 11 years of Experience in Business Performance
Key Qualifications:
  • Lead a team of analysts to provide business insights about ongoing projects and overall departmental work to leaders.
  • Understand various KPIs/metrics (operational, project, and financial) and ability to track, monitor, and report them.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and visualization methods to present business progress to leaders.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in communication and presentation to leadership.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work effectively across matrixed organizations and lead in collaboration.
  • Passion for technology and customer success, particularly in driving innovative AI and data solutions.
  • Familiarity with biotech/pharma is beneficial.
