Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
The ideal candidate will be an experienced business professional with 5-7 years of experience in assurance services. They must have expertise in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop risk assessments, testing strategies, and engage with clients to meet their needs.
- Manage complex engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
- Create realistic project timelines and coordinate audit requests to meet client expectations.
- Mentor junior staff members on technical matters.
- Communicate with senior management on work progress and any client issues that arise.
- Adhere to firm policies and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Document and review engagements thoroughly.
- Design engagement approaches and supervise teams.
- Attend mandatory training sessions.
- Prepare and review final reports.
Requirements for Success:
- Certified accountant with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- A team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and ISA standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and navigate ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with business trends and industry knowledge.
- Effective relationship-building skills.
