Our focus areas include manufacturing optimization, supply chain management, sourcing and procurement, third-party risk, and merger-integration synergy savings.

The role of a Senior Consultant involves leading the delivery effort on our projects, playing a critical role in every aspect of the consulting engagement from opportunity assessment to final implementation. This includes building relationships with client stakeholders by helping them manage and resolve various operational issues, conducting interviews to develop a current state assessment, evaluating against industry leading standards to suggest savings opportunities and operational improvements.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing client spend data and creating project deliverables, conducting in-depth research into various markets and industries
  • Developing process maps, identifying gaps and recommending improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders to draft and release Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Supporting client stakeholders as well as suppliers during the bid evaluation and supplier selection process
  • Developing financial models (Total Cost of Ownership) to understand the true cost of owning a particular good or service, presenting to key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Evaluating suppliers' pricing proposals to identify cost reduction levers and drafting negotiation strategy presentations

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of prior experience in a consulting firm or industry, specifically within operations, supply chain and/or procurement
  • A passion for working in a start-up atmosphere, comfortable with ambiguity and having an ownership-driven mindset
  • Proven problem-solving and time management ability
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • A highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
