Operations Team Lead

Job Description:

The Operations Team Lead will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects and tasks
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing operations or a related field
  • Proven ability to drive tightly controlled operational metrics
  • Strong process orientation and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of project execution, including financial management
  2. Optimize existing projects by working closely with the product team
  3. Handle general operations, including daily execution, volume driving, progress tracking, flag highlighting, and daily reporting
  4. Analyze training needs and provide training to team members
  5. Collect feedback and resolve issues on a regular basis
  6. Monitor team performance to achieve Key Result Areas (KRAs)
  7. Mentor and motivate student workforce, demonstrating strong people engagement skills
  8. Run pilot projects and suggest improvements in processes at every level
  9. Set goals, KPIs, and targets for team members
Desired Skills:
  1. 2 years of relevant experience in managing an operations team
  2. Proven ability in driving tightly controlled operational metrics
  3. Strong process orientation & business acumen
  4. Good people management, team building, and program management skills
  5. A higher-than-normal sense of ownership with a clear bias for action
  6. Relevant educational qualification
  7. Impeccable verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi)
