Job Title: Linux Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Linux Support Specialist.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires expertise in server management and virtualization.
  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining both physical and virtualized servers (Linux and Windows).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain both physical and virtualized servers (Linux and Windows).
  • Install and configure operating systems and essential services through remote consoles.
  • Work with virtualization tools like Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor, and Hyper-V.
  • Handle tools such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk, routers, and switches.
  • Ensure smooth operations of DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, IIS, and MSSQL.
  • Expertise in protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, POP3, HTTP, DNS, FTP, and SSH.
  • Monitor hardware, applications, and network status and proactively resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages to automate and streamline processes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues.
  • Maintain strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a web hosting industry.
  • Expertise in cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and server environments (Linux and Windows).
  • Proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools (Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor)
  • Have experience with Automation Deployment with Ansible, NOC-PS,
  • Can monitor with like Librenms, Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager Stack.
  • Strong understanding of networking and server fundamentals, DNS, and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Marathi/Hindi/English Communication skills.
