Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our team in Pune.
  • The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in Direct Tax and will be responsible for structuring and advising on deals from a tax perspective.
  • The role involves drafting and reviewing deal documents, handholding clients in conceptualizing deals, and providing advisory services on possible structuring through the IFSC Gift city.
  • The successful candidate will also undertake health checks and prepare due diligence reports.
  • Additionally, the candidate will provide international tax and FEMA advisory services, including effective tax rate planning analysis and assistance in compounding applications.
  • The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Structuring and advising on deals from a tax perspective
  • Drafting and reviewing deal documents
  • Handholding clients in conceptualizing deals
  • Providing advisory services on possible structuring through the IFSC Gift city
  • Undertaking health checks and preparing due diligence reports
  • Providing international tax and FEMA advisory services
  • Assisting in lower withholding applications, condonation applications, assessments, and appeals
