Job Title

A Senior Corporate Lawyer is required to provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer with a strong background in IT services and consulting. The role involves providing strategic legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Provide expert legal advice on data protection, IT laws, and international regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA to mitigate legal risks.
  • Support business teams in client negotiations and enable smooth deal closures through effective stakeholder management.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Hold an LLB/LLM from a recognized institution with a strong academic record.
  • Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients, including experience with cross-border transactions.
  • Familiarity with labor, employment laws, and intellectual property to provide comprehensive legal advice.
  • Possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues to provide nuanced advice.
