Job Title: Legal Counsel

About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal & Compliance Team. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting development and sales activities across multiple regions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex software agreements with clients worldwide.
  • Prepare and negotiate IT-service, procurement, and purchase agreements, service descriptions, and company policies.
  • Provide legal support on project agreements, commercial contracts, and corporate housekeeping documents.
  • Maintain and enhance contract management and archive systems.

Your Expertise

  • Indian legal education: B.A. + LL.B. or B.A. + LL.M. A Master's in a related field would be preferred.
  • Admitted as a Solicitor / Advocate in India (or eligible).
  • Graduated from a reputed law school with above-average results / 5+ years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
  • Proven expertise in TMT law, IP/IT law, software licensing, and SaaS contracts.

Your Skills

  • Business-fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong negotiation and contract-drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional legal issues independently.
  • Familiarity with international commercial practices and compliance standards.
