Job Title: IT Asset Professional

This role is responsible for handling procurement coordination activities related to IT-based hardware and services.

  • The incumbent will source and coordinate with the procurement team to obtain network hardware and software from approved vendors.
  • They will manage quotation requests, price comparison, and vendor negotiations to ensure timely renewal of software licenses.
  • Tracking and maintaining inventory of IT assets and licenses is a key responsibility.
  • The incumbent will coordinate with the IT operations team to ensure timely renewal of software licenses and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and invoices.
  • Additionally, they will evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery performance and create and update procurement documents such as purchase orders and vendor agreements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for evaluating vendors and managing procurement activities.
