We are seeking a highly skilled Network Protocol Expert to join our team at Tekgence Inc. in Bangalore and remotely. The ideal candidate will have expertise in L2/L3 protocol development and a strong understanding of system and network virtualization.
As a Network Protocol Expert, you will contribute to delivering high-quality products by troubleshooting and fixing reported issues with routing protocols and services. You will also lead and guide an offshore development team while working closely with other team members. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuous learning and development of skills in system and network virtualization.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of various network protocols such as Vxlan, EVPN, IGMP, PIM, MLD, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and Segment Routing. They should also have in-depth knowledge of EVPN concepts, including control plane signaling, route types, and network virtualization. Proficiency in C programming, data structures, and Linux is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to software design, development, review, and documentation to deliver high-quality products.
- Troubleshoot and fix reported issues with routing protocol and services.
- Continuous learning and development of skills in system and network virtualization.
- Lead and guide offshore development team.
- Work in close coordination with other team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in L2/L3 protocol development.
- Expertise in system and network virtualization.
