Job Overview

This role focuses on delivering high-quality order management services to regional sales teams. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient servicing of orders, including validating demand, prioritizing orders, and resolving potential issues affecting timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate demand over the horizon and prioritize orders based on defined parameters
  • Ensure that plans are achieved by validating demand with available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, and other customer-specific requirements
  • Analyze order status in systems and gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules
  • Highlight potential issues affecting timelines and take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders
  • Drive documentation related to shipments with CFT teams and mitigate risks/delays proactively
  • Attend meetings to gather data and information on open orders and their status updates
  • Identify and resolve issues such as artwork approval, batch size, and minimum order quantity
  • Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottleneck-related issues and ensure OTIF is met

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT & automation in order management processes to improve supply chain visibility
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for IT & technology automations within SCM jointly with IT

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI)
  • Good understanding of supply chain essentials, preferably in the pharma industry
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
  • SAP knowledge essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Decision-making, ability to prioritize on a dynamic basis
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and work around constraints
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential
