SCM Specialist Position

This role is focused on presales and solutions consulting within supply chain management. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in solution design, deal structuring, and implementation of large SCM engagements.

About the Job

As a SCM specialist, you will conduct due diligence and process maturity assessments with customers to build strong business cases for outsourcing. You will also create compelling responses to RFPs/RFIs, develop winning value propositions, and articulate supply chain service offerings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, as well as excellent communication and team collaboration skills. You will work closely with other service lines to build integrated value propositions in large, multi-service deals.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can demonstrate thought leadership by staying ahead of industry trends and market developments.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 8-15 years of experience in presales/solutioning roles within Supply Chain (Sourcing & Procurement)
  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management or related fields
  • Strong background in solution design, deal structuring, and implementation of large SCM engagements
  • Good understanding of direct and indirect sourcing categories across industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Energy & Resources, Hi-Tech, Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, etc.
  • Experience in outcome-based/gain-share solution models
  • Familiarity with leading SCM tools such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Ariba, Coupa (hands-on experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio)
