Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan operations, with experience in checking processes and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties as a checker for assigned activities diligently.
  • Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the process.
  • Nurture team members to develop their skills.
  • Understand Bank processes and policies, adhering to requirements.
  • Collaborate with overseas branches to process transactions according to accuracy, quality standards, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support overseas branches in resolving operational incidents and reporting.
  • Provide suggestions for improving operational processes.

Requirements

  • High-quality service to enhance reputation and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders within MUFG.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Partner with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines and assess impact on daily operations workflow.
  • Work with the wider operations team for information sharing and accurate transaction processing.
  • Support developmental projects related to the Department.

Leadership Expectations

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing loan operations team.
  • Ensure effective workload distribution, performance management, and accountability.
  • Guide junior members of the team and provide training to ensure job knowledge.
  • Nurture the team and support them in creating backup systems.
  • Take initiatives to guide and train new joiners and junior staff.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform checking process on operational issues escalated by less experienced team members.
  • Reconcile daily pending transactions.
  • Support the Head of Department in determining the level of support for new product offerings.
  • Support the Head of Department in achieving departmental KPIs set by Branch Management.
  • Manage risk profile for the department.
  • Support internal and external audits within the department.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
  • Submit timely statutory and MIS reports.
  • Conduct necessary training sessions for the team.
  • Manage testing and new migrations.
