Seeking an expert to convert underwriting expertise into actionable training, playbooks, and quality standards that empower reviewers to learn retail/home-loan underwriting fundamentals and enhance AI model accuracy.

About the Role
  • Teaching Underwriting Principles: Educate non-specialists on FOIR/DTI, LTV, income stability, bureau interpretation, documentation best practices, fraud detection, and policy application.
  • Curation of AI Outputs: Train reviewers to review and refine AI model responses, apply rules, add reason codes, and document edge cases.
  • Designing Training Materials: Develop micro-curricula, SOPs, examples, quizzes, checklists, and local-language handouts for effective learning.
  • Quality Rubrics and Calibration: Create acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines for high-quality results.
  • Defining Data Needs: Identify missing rules/thresholds and draft data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.
  • Ethics and Privacy: Ensure PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.

Key Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience with comfort in teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations & documents: FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
  • Fluency in English and Telugu.
