We're seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our public policy team, you will play a critical role in navigating the regulatory environment and ensuring alignment with our business goals within India's policy framework.

You will work closely with government bodies, regulatory departments, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve our objectives. Your expertise will help us stay compliant and competitive in the markets we operate in.

• Policy Development: Provide direction and guidance on policy strategies that align with our business goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent our interests with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders at local, state, and national levels.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges that may impact the business.
• Strategic Insights: Provide strategic, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on key policy matters, ensuring proactive decision-making.
• Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement strategies to address critical legislative, regulatory, and public policy proposals.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on the Indian market.
• Network: A strong network of stakeholders, including at senior levels, with a demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at the highest levels.
• Understanding: An extensive understanding of the policy climate in India, with an informed global perspective, combined with sound and practical business judgment and common sense.
• Critical Thinking: An ability to anticipate emerging issues of importance to the company, communicating their impact on us to senior management, and developing a strategy to address them effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Ability to identify and understand key technical aspects pertaining to corporate operations in legislative and regulatory proposals, understand business implications, and synthesize policy documents for internal and external customers.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Business Acumen: Sound business judgment and a practical approach to policy development and regulatory compliance.
