Genesys Cloud Contact Center Engineer Role

This role involves responsibility for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Genesys Cloud Contact Center platform.

The ideal candidate will be working closely with stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure the contact center infrastructure meets business outcomes and evolving needs. You will assist in enhancing the Contact Center product portfolio by defining the product roadmap based on business requirements, data, and market trends.

You will partner with our Genesys Cloud platform support provider to ensure solutions align with standards and business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering Functions: Establishing standards and blueprints, supporting development and implementation activities.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Managing operational run, enhancements, and platform changes.
  • Supplier Management: Monitoring and managing supplier delivery to meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
  • Internal IT Stakeholder Engagement: Supporting integrations, governance processes, and architecture/design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Sharing knowledge and best practices with country representatives and serving as a technical escalation resource.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Genesys Cloud contact center solutions.
  • Genesys Certified Professional (GCP) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing contact center solutions.

Skillset includes:

  • Genesys Cloud tools including Architect, Agent Scripter, CLI.
  • Experience with JSON, RegEx, and restful API/web services.
  • Designing, creating, and managing table-driven and dynamic workflows.
