Position Overview

Auditing and optimizing the design processes for our Enterprise customers is a core focus of this Technical Consultant role within Autodesk's Customer Success Organisation. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with customers to specify and implement customised automation solutions built on Autodesk's Cloud and Desktop Products.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer design process optimisation needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Configure and customise Autodesk's primary products, with a focus on Revit.
  • Develop platform solutions using Autodesk Platform Services (APS).
  • Establish credibility and build partnerships at all levels with clients.
  • Produce written documentation of solutions and configure products according to customer requirements.
  • Contribute to Autodesk's Intellectual Property (IP) and assets through methods development and sales collateral.
  • Lead training and adoption efforts for customers and potentially travel for work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise in tools and programming languages for writing and modifying programs that comprise an application system, specifically C# and other .NET programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk's Revit API and the ability to abstract complex technical problems to different audiences.
  • Experience in programming leveraging Autodesk's APS platform for cloud-based solutions.
  • Effective communication, interpretation, and transmission of ideas, information, and needs.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Ability to resolve customer problems creatively and build healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Knowledge of and ability to consult on delivery of new business applications.
  • Experience in constructing software products or systems in line with their requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of concepts and philosophies regarding the design and deployment of information technologies and associated architectural concepts, principles, and tools.
  • Ability to document current state design processes and map customer requirements to Autodesk solutions.
  • Good vision and imagination, as well as 5+ years of experience with Autodesk's AEC Product Portfolio and their APIs.
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing workflows for practical business solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or a related field, with an advanced degree being desirable.
