Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining and securing our network infrastructure.

Job Description:

Maintain and secure the entire network infrastructure, ensuring it operates at optimal performance levels.

  • Deploy and maintain LANs, WANs, and network segments.
  • Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and configuration standardization.
  • Manage firewall configurations to ensure security and optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with LAN switching technologies, including VLANs, RSTP, ACLs, and Virtual Chassis.
  • Recommend network capacity planning strategies.
  • Perform proactive maintenance for disaster recovery.
  • Monitor networks for security, reliability, and availability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-6 years of overall IT experience.
  • Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls such as FortiGate and Palo-Alto.
  • Skilled in handling Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei switches.
  • Familiarity with Aruba, Cisco controllers and access points.
  • Experience with AWS and Zscaler Private Access.
  • Sound knowledge of various network protocols and ports.
  • Familiarity with IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS, and IPS.
  • Prior experience in routing and switching.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
