Job Title: Strategic Procurement Specialist

Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth supply of parts and materials required for production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, and supplier coordination. You will work closely with internal teams across production, procurement, and stores to ensure the right material reaches the right place at the right time.

Your responsibilities will include planning and monitoring material requirements based on consumption and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials, triggering delivery call-offs, and identifying and resolving delivery bottlenecks or shortages.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, and supplier coordination
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving ability in critical supply situations
  • Good communication and negotiation skills

You will also be expected to manage inventory health by analyzing stock levels, preventing overstock or shortage situations, and recommending disposal or recycling of excess materials.
