Backend Developer Role

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in shaping the digital landscape of our clients by building robust and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that ensure reliability and performance.
  • Build and deploy microservices from scratch, leveraging expertise in asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  • Decide and implement the right storage solutions depending on use case, ensuring optimal database design.
  • Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed, exploring new technologies and stacks.
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.
  • Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  • Deep understanding of database design, including when to use relational vs. non-relational DBs.
  • Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container tools.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Contributions to open-source or side projects showcasing backend expertise.
