Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned backend engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend engineering and a strong understanding of machine learning concepts.

The selected individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable ML models as APIs using industry-leading frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a robust Gen AI consumption layer on top of a complex database architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality ML models as APIs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build a scalable Gen AI consumption layer.
  • Work closely with software engineers to integrate ML models with complex database systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in backend engineering with 2-5 years of experience.
  • An excellent understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications.
  • Experience with API development using FastAPI or Flask.
  • Familiarity with complex database systems and integration with ML models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
