Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications using Java.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an agile team.
  • Key responsibilities include performing hands-on software development, writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • As a member of this team, you will drive user story analysis, design, and develop responsive web applications using best engineering practices.
  • You will also be responsible for developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
  • Additionally, you will manage your own time, work well both independently and as part of a team, and perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including developing prototypes, writing new code, and creating APIs.
  • Furthermore, you will drive automation and ensure automated test scripts are completed for new features in partnership with QA Engineers.
  • In collaboration with Senior Engineers, Architects, and Infrastructure Engineers, you will design and build integration components and interfaces as necessary.
