Project Manager Position

GlobalData's Industrials Custom Solutions team is the cornerstone of the company's success, empowering clients to extract maximum value from data analysis and customized research.

We are seeking skilled professionals who can deliver projects for global customers across various sectors, including Construction, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Renewable Energy, Metal, and Mining. Your focus will be on providing critical business intelligence, analyzing market dynamics, and guiding clients in making informed decisions based on actionable insights.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clients and senior team leaders to understand strategic choices and problem areas
  • Working closely with a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants to deliver end-to-end projects with minimal supervision
  • Analyzing data, creating business forecast models, and predicting future trends
  • Developing high-quality reports aligned with client requirements
  • Leading teams to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and budget
  • Maintaining close coordination with subordinate teams and senior management at the client level and within GlobalData

As a trusted partner and subject matter expert, you will:

  • Engage with clients to define project scope, execution plans, and key deliverables and timelines
  • Think critically to create long-term perspectives and develop high-quality reports
  • Drive projects independently, delivering end-to-end solutions to clients
  • Communicate recommendations effectively to clients
  • Support sales and BD teams in project feasibility assessments, effort estimations, and proposal development

Key skills expected from the candidate include:

  • Expert Project Management skills to deliver end-to-end projects
  • Leadership abilities to manage teams and establish strong client relationships
  • Effective teamwork and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Data mining and interpretation skills through company filings, presentations, industry statistics, government documents, and macro-economic trends
  • In-depth understanding of Industrial Sectors such as Construction, Energy, Mining, and Automotive, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in delivering Industrial Consulting projects
