Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to lead our government business development initiatives. This role will involve developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth in the IT and security sectors, with a focus on public sector clients.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of government sales processes, and a proven track record in managing complex sales cycles.
  • Responsibilities include owning end-to-end sales activities for government accounts, driving demand generation, and identifying opportunities through direct engagement, tenders, and empanelment processes.
  • Key stakeholders will be developed through strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and other key contacts within the government sector.
  • Solution alignment with client needs will be ensured through coordination with pre-sales and technical teams.
  • A healthy sales pipeline will be maintained through accurate forecasting and timely closure of deals.
Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will hold a B.E./B.Tech degree from a reputable institution and have at least 8+ years of experience in B2G IT sales. Proven success in selling IT/software/security solutions to government/PSU clients is essential.

  • Familiarity with tendering, GeM, rate contract, and bid submission processes is required.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary for this role.
  • The ability to independently manage key accounts and drive business across complex hierarchies is also essential.
  • Travel may be required to client locations and government departments.
