Key Data Insights Professional

This role is accountable for delivering accurate and timely statistical insights to support business growth. The professional will build, present, and communicate data-driven models using current standards and best practices.

  • Accuracy - Deliver precise statistical results on time.
  • Conduct small to medium-scale projects, applying statistical methodologies to research and analysis.
  • Independently create and present statistically sound models using standard software tools.
  • Consult and explain complex statistical concepts to internal clients.
  • Develop project plans that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provide expertise in data sets and analyses.
  • Stay up-to-date with group policies and procedures for programming, documentation, and system management.
  • Master the desktop and UNIX toolset (SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to create content for evaluating statistical analyses.
  • Develop proficiency in quantitative modeling techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Lead statistical training sessions on standard models to other teams.
  • Employ sound statistical methods and manage project deadlines effectively.
  • Oversee low to medium-complexity projects and consult with other departments on system improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
  • May provide statistical training to the statistics department.
  • Ability to write new Python code, improve existing code, and understand all code being used.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Deliver on-time and accurate statistical results.
  • Monitor and document progress through Jira.
  • Manage workload to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Account Specialists and Sales to resolve stalled jobs due to incorrect or missing information.
  • Ensure successful completion and publishing of all model requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Economics.
  • 0-2 years prior experience with data analysis or modeling with large transactional databases.
  • Good understanding of statistical/data analytics principles.
  • Experience/exposure conducting original research.
  • Proficiency in Python/SAS environment.
